Stay independent: equipment, adaptations and technology for your home

Important Update on Community Equipment Services in Barnet

NRS Healthcare, who supply equipment such as bath lifts, hoists and profiling beds, ended their services on 15 September 2025.

Following the closure of NRS Healthcare, we are pleased to confirm that Barnet Council, along with seven other boroughs, has appointed a new provider: Provide Care Solutions Ltd (Provide).

The new provider will take some time to mobilise.

What this means for you

We are working hard to make sure services stay as reliable as possible, especially for those of you with the highest levels of need.

This will mean that we continue to prioritise urgent and essential equipment deliveries, repairs and collections.

If you have any small or damaged items, please consider disposing of these yourself. There may be some wait for these and other non-urgent requests.

Contact details

From Monday 6th October, you can contact Provide by calling 0300 100 0253.

Please be aware that we're currently experiencing a high volume of calls and emails. We appreciate your patience and understanding while we work through this transition period.
