As a result, from 00:01 on Saturday 17 October, London will move from COVID alert level medium (Tier 1) to high (Tier 2). They aim to engage, enable, empower and equip people from marginalised and disadvantaged backgrounds to achieve their intellectual, social, emotional and economic independence and wellbeing. They do this through their own CHOICES programme project, located now at Allotmentz Cafe. CHOICES is an acronym for Choose Health Opportunities, Independence, Character, Employment & Skills.

This represents a considerable challenge in Barnet, a borough with over 30,000 street trees. The annual leaf fall can be unpredictable due to weather and varying leaf fall times depending on tree species.

16.50 UPDATE: Affinity Water has reported that all residents affected should now have a water supply, although this may be at a lower pressure than normal. Their team is on site to continue repair work to the damaged section of water main. For the latest information we advise residents to keep checking the Affinity Water website for updates. The facility can be found in the Fenella Building car park of Middlesex University, The Burroughs, Hendon, NW4 4BS. It will operate from 8am-8pm, seven days a week from today (Monday 2 November).
