By law, the council must appoint an Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) and a Returning Officer (RO) who have legal powers and a statutory duty to collect and process personal data. The ERO/RO is a separate data controller to the council. The Chief Executive of the London Borough of Barnet is the Electoral Registration Officer and the Returning Officer and is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) with regard to all Electoral Services data.

Vocal score sets For a small fee, any music or choral society or group that meets in Barnet, or other London boroughs, can borrow from a large collection of vocal score sets.  Your group will need to be registered to use this service. It has been designed to inform joined-up, evidence-based decision making and commissioning by the council, Barnet CCG, the Barnet Health and Wellbeing Board, voluntary groups, and providers. 

Delivering the right homes in the right locations at the right time underpins successful and sustainable growth in Barnet. Barnet’s Housing Delivery Action Plan (HDAP) highlights the causes of delays following planning consent and the actions the Council proposes to undertake to speed up the delivery of new homes. We invite comments on the contents of this HDAP and also encourage ongoing proactive engagement with relevant stakeholders in implementing its actions for improving housing delivery. 

The Council Tax Service will send SMS text messages, emails and recorded voice messages to you if your Council Tax account falls in to arrears. Whilst this service is offered to prevent customers falling further into arrears, it should not be relied upon and may not always be available. It is your responsibility to maintain the instalments due on your account, failure to do so will result in further action being taken.
