It's a really simple format, played indoors and in the comfort of a chair. Safe soft equipment, the game uses the surroundings to evolve the scoring! Always lots of laughter and it never stops being funny when someone gets hit on the head with a sponge ball! This is a free first come, first served drop-in event for older adults.

Explore the powers of creating a “still life” and develop new skills from composition, reinterpretation and working with mixed media, drawing and montage techniques. The session will not only focus the mind on artistic creation but also foster a sense of wellbeing, social interaction and create a memorable artwork and memory aid. For example, for everyday events from leaving the house with a phone, keys and a shopping bag, laying a table, or making a cup of tea, arranging flowers in a vase, or arranging vegetables in a bowl. This event is suitable for older adults.

Participants will paint or use colour to make a decorative design on sections of fabrics that also form one artwork. Familiar and calming music will play during the session. The mixture of music and painting create a soothing atmosphere. This is a fun, low-pressure activity with beautiful outcomes for those with language or memory challenges. Join us online for a Holocaust Memorial Day presentation by Dalya Wittenberg from Generation 2 Generation (G2G). Dalya tells her grandmother Cilla Rotblat's story. Cilla Rotblat née Friedman was born in the small Polish town of Sochaczew. At the outbreak of the war, when she was around 18 years old and her boyfriend (who later became her husband), Yaakov Laifer. The elders of the Sochaczew Jewish community took the difficult decision to advise the youngsters to flee towards Russia.
