Join us at Chipping Barnet Library for our STEM Halloween craft. Bring spooky creatures to life and discover a world of animation!  Age guidance: 5+ Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. 

Concerned about scams? Barclays Bank advisors will be available at this drop-in session to talk about fraud, scams, and online banking security. Community Police will also be available to answer your questions. This is a dropping session.

Join our online Conversation Café sessions every Friday from 3pm to 4pm during school term time only.  The sessions are aimed at anyone over 18 years old whose first language is not English. They are relaxed and welcoming and they cover a variety of subjects and topics to help you gain confidence in speaking English. Barnet Libraries presents: An ONLINE evening with Dave Rich in conversation with authors David Bolchover & Kit Holden talking about their stunning football books: The Greatest Comeback: From Genocide to Football Glory, is a biography of the legendary football coach Béla Guttmann & Scheisse!   

Join The African Cultural Association in the library for a jam-packed day of activities for all ages celebrating traditional African culture. There will be an exhibition of arts and crafts, books and artefacts from African authors, artists and other well-known people. Learn how to braid and weave African natural hair and how to tie a traditional African head wrap. For example, Gele. The event is free, no booking required, first come first served.
