First Physics at Colindale Library

We will be providing a range of physics themed activities for children to explore with their grown ups. This activity session is running during self-service opening. If you are planning to come, please make sure you have a library card and are registered for self-service access. Please remember to bring your library card with you so you can access the building.  You can join the library at any time during our staffed opening hours.

The National Databank provides free data to those in need through the Good Things Foundation’s network of community partners, in partnership with Virgin Media/O2 and Vodafone. Barnet Libraries are a partner in this national scheme. Eligible individuals may receive either:  A Vodaphone SIM card with 40GB data, unlimited calls and texts per month for 6 months An O2/Virgin Media SIM card with 25GB data, unlimited calls and texts per month for up to 12 months The type of SIM you receive is subject to availability.

Need support learning to use your phone, iPad, tablet, or laptop? Or maybe you would like to learn about other technology.  This is an in person event.

Are you feeling isolated and/or looking for some mental health support? Our Library Mental Health Volunteers are a friendly face to listen and can support and signpost you to local services as well as provide information.  Join them fortnightly at Chipping Barnet library from 10 January.  Drop-in session, no booking required. 

Chinese New Year Craft at Osidge library

Celebrate the Year of the Dragon with us by making a dragon puppet. This event is suitable for children aged 5 years and above. No booking is required, spaces will be allocated on first come, first served basis.

Shanarama is sharing some nifty tricks from her Fabulous New Book: 'Don't Mess with Science!' Come along to this fun-filled, activity event, where your children will learn Science, without even realising! The book illustrated by Shanarama will be available to buy and have signed at the end of the session. This event is suitable for children 6-13 years old.
