Re JUNCTION OF A1000 AND ST ALBANS ROADUnder the Freedom of Information Act can you please tell me what technology is used at the above junction. Specifically when turning right into St Albans Road going south on the A1000.Clarification:-Thank you for your email. I have tried in the attached diagram to explain the issue which is traffic lights marked 'A'.Cars travelling south on the A1000 and which to turn right into St Albans rd often get stuck at the junction. Locals often get frustrated as small cars and bikes are in the front and the lights don't change which is why I think there maybe an underground sensor. This is what i'm asking you to clarify. If this is the only sensor on 'A' then I think it needs additional measures like an IRD or MVD which i think is employed on lights 'B'.
