1.The number of assaults reported on refuse collectors working for or on behalf of the council (including fully employed staff and contractors) in the financial years 2022/23, 2023/24, and 2024/25. Please provide a breakdown by year and by type of assault (physical or verbal).2.Of these assaults, how many resulted in reported injuries?3.The total number of refuse collectors who were injured, regardless of cause, in 2022/23, 2023/24, and 2024/25.4.The total amount the council has paid in compensation to refuse collectors for injuries sustained in 2022/23, 2023/24, and 2024/25.For the purposes of this request, 'refuse collectors' includes any staff involved in waste collection and associated roles, such as bin operatives, loaders, drivers, street cleansing staff, and other relevant operational roles.
