CHC Assessment and Eligibility Statistics 2024-2025

Dear Freedom of Information Officer,I am writing under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request statistical information relating to Continuing Healthcare (CHC) and NHS-funded care decisions involving the London Borough of Barnet for the period 1 January 2024 to 30 September 2025.Please provide the following information:1.The total number of CHC assessments completed in this period.2.The number of those assessments which resulted in eligibility for NHS Continuing Healthcare.3.The number of assessments which resulted in a finding of 'not eligible' for CHC.4.The average timescale (in calendar days) between CHC referral and final eligibility decision.5.The number of cases where CHC decisions were appealed or reviewed, and how many were subsequently overturned6.The number of cases where funding responsibility was formally disputed between the Council and North Central London Integrated Care Board (ICB).7.Any policy or procedural guidance currently used by Barnet Council in determining local authority financial responsibility while CHC eligibility is under consideration (i.e., interim funding arrangements under paragraph 181 of the National Framework).Please provide responses in electronic format (PDF or spreadsheet).
