I am submitting this request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.For clarity, Section 8(1) of the Act permits requests to be made in writing by electronic means (including email). If your authority prefers use of an online portal, please treat this email as valid notice under the Act and, if required, transfer the text into your internal system under your Section 16 duty to provide advice and assistance.Please ensure the request is directed to the appropriate Trading Standards or enforcement information team within your authority.RequestPlease provide, for the period 1 January 2015 to the date of your search:1.The number of complaints, reports or referrals received relating to fenestration products or installations (including windows, doors, and conservatories).2.A count of any investigations, enforcement actions, or prosecutions arising from those complaints.3.Any references within your records to FENSA, BBA, BFRC, or other fenestration certification schemes.4.If any complaints or referrals relating to Anglian Windows Ltd (or associated trading entities) originated outside your authority area and were referred to another Trading Standards service, please indicate the destination authority and, if held, the number of such cases.I am happy for any personal data or identifying information to be redacted where necessary in accordance with Section 40 of the Act; I am interested only in statistical or aggregated data.If the information is held by another service within your authority or via a shared-service arrangement, please transfer the request internally under your Section 16 duty to provide advice and assistance.ContextThis request forms part of a nationwide series of FOI submissions being privately compiled in the public interest for review by the Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS), the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC), and the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ).The aim is to obtain consistent, factual data on complaint volumes, enforcement activity, and certification-scheme involvement across local authorities to inform cross-government understanding of consumer-protection and product-safety oversight in the fenestration sector.I am happy to receive your response by email.Please contact me if any clarification would assist processing.
