Temporary Accommodation Providers and Housing Contracts

I am conducting a policy review on local authority use of temporary accommodation providers across London and would be grateful for information held under the Environmental Information Regulations 2004.I am seeking full details of all companies, landlords, letting agents, or other providers with whom Barnet Council has held, or currently holds, any agreements, contracts, or arrangements for the provision of temporary accommodation or emergency housing placements during the past five years. This includes any arrangements managed by the Housing Needs, Homelessness, or Procurement teams, as well as any third parties providing accommodation on behalf of Barnet Council.For each provider, please specify the name of the organisation or landlord, the nature and type of agreement (for example, framework contract, spot purchase, lease, or other arrangement), the start and end dates, the number of placements made, and the total amount spent with that provider in each of the last three financial years.Please include information held in Barnet Council's Contracts Register, procurement records, or any equivalent internal database used to manage agreements with temporary accommodation providers. Where available, please provide the data at property or portfolio level, indicating the number of units or addresses covered under each agreement.This request also covers providers located outside the borough who accommodate Barnet residents under cross-borough, subcontracted, or privately leased schemes. Please include any historical or expired contracts within the past five years.If disclosure of all individual contract documents would exceed the cost limit, I am content to receive a structured summary or schedule containing the requested details for each provider.The information requested concerns the use and management of property and housing resources and therefore falls within the scope of the Environmental Information Regulations 2004. Disclosure of this information is in the public interest, as it relates to expenditure of public funds on housing provision and standards for vulnerable residents.Please provide the information in an open, machine-readable format such as CSV or Excel, in line with ICO guidance on accessibility and data re-use. I would be grateful if you could confirm receipt of this request.
