To whom it may concern, We are a firm of professional genealogists specialising in recovering unclaimed assets, usually in connection with the estate of a deceased person. We are aware that the London Borough of Barnet has dealt with a number of persons who died intestate, with no known next-of-kin, and these estates have been referred by you to the Bona Vacantia Division at the Government Legal Department. I would like to submit a Freedom of Information request to the London Borough of Barnet for a list of any such estates referred by the Borough to the Bona Vacantia Division in the last six months, including the names of the decedent, marital status, alternative names (including maiden names), and the dates and places of birth and death.
