Barnet Council supports opportunity to find new sites for housing as part of GLA initiative

Barnet Council is publicising an information gathering exercise being led by The Greater London Authority (GLA) on identifying places where new housing could be built.

This will form part of what is known as a Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment (SHLAA) in the LAND4LDN project as part of the new London Plan to meet the needs of a growing population in our capital city.

Recent car seat safety checks in Barnet have revealed that 95% of child car seats were installed incorrectly after 45 seats were checked, with a total of 100 errors.
